Joseph Wiendl is a highly accomplished generalist who brings over 25 years of experience in military operations, business, and finance. As the CFO and Assistant Secretary of Nasatka Security, he concentrates on governance, administration, legal support, financial strategy, financial operations, valuation, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, and corporate (venture) development.

His service in the U.S. Navy as a qualified surface warfare officer included tours in engineering and combat operations for the Cruiser-Destroyer community, and as command legal officer.  Later, as a civilian, he served as an internal consulting team member at Lockheed Martin Astronautics in Denver, then as a junior officer at investment and merchant banks, including Macquarie and Raymond James. 

Wiendl joined Nasatka Security as a special advisor to the Board of Directors for several years before rising to the position of CFO and Assistant Secretary in 2015. He carries accredited degrees from the U.S. Naval Academy (Aerospace Engineering:  Astronautics), the Wharton School of Business (MBA Finance), and the University of Tampa (MS Accounting).  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation and is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida.  He is a member of Leadership Florida, where he serves on the audit committee, and of the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry. He has served in two voluntary appointed positions in the administration of Governor Jeb Bush, first as a commissioner and then as an economic development officer assisting in Florida’s aerospace industry strategy.
